Processor

First, we chose the Intel Core i5-13600K processor for the composition processor. The i5-13600K is a 14-core, 20-thread processor, 2.6 GHz base frequency with the ability to reach up to 5.1 GHz, and has integrated graphics.

For a high-end system, this one will cover our needs and more than that. We will not encounter any problems in games, regardless of the requirement of the title, while being able to run the rest of the applications comfortably and quickly.

To cool the Intel Core i5-13600K, we chose the Lian Li Galahad 240 Black 240mm AIO, which is a very good VFM choice for water cooling with a 120mm dual-fan radiator each, running at 1900 rpm, and fairly quiet as a unit. .

Graphic card

This particular PC has a separate graphics card, the NVIDIA RTX 3060 12 GB GDDR6 implemented by ASUS, with which we can play all AAA titles in 1080p 60fps with all settings at maximum. For 1440p resolution, most games will consistently run at at least 60fps on max settings, and only very demanding titles might see 5-10fps drops.

RAM memory

In the system we have added the standard set of memories that any decent gaming build needs, namely 2 x 8GB 3600MHz memories. The price difference with low frequencies is very small, so choosing the 3600MHz set is a one-way street.

If there is a need for 32 GB of memory, the option for 4×8 GB at a frequency of 3600 MHz is given in the “RAM selection” menu.

Motherboard

All the hardware in our composition is based on a quality and high-end motherboard, the MSI Pro Z690-A DDR4, with all the necessary outputs that a gaming system needs. It has many features, such as 2xPCIe 4.0 gen for M.2 drives, DisplayPort and HDMI to connect our monitors, 4 DDR4 DIMM slots, addressable RGB and LED headers, 6 USB ports, and much more.

Storeroom

The system has a 1TB M.2 NVMe drive, the Samsung 980, for the main storage, which is quick and spacious to install the operating system, and the additional applications that we need for our work.

If one disk is not enough for us, and between us it is never the case, it is possible to add a separate hard disk from the corresponding menu.

Power source

The criteria for choosing a power supply for us at PCsteps is always quality and reliability, not low price or many watts. So for our build we used the 700 Watt 80 Plus Gold certified Be Quiet System Power 9 which is more than enough for the system and allows us to add anything we want in the future.

Note here that the power supply is Semi Modular, so we can arrange our cables with relative ease.

Box

Finally, our range is housed in NZXT’s H510 Flow White box, which is white in color. It is a Midi size box, and has a tempered glass side window, filters for the fans, the possibility of a cooler up to 280 mm and very good cable management to keep cables as organized as possible.

Of course, as we can see, the box also provides RGB lighting, if we care about style and functionality.

Operating system and warranty
