The weather will be hot this weekend in the country, while in Crete temperatures will even reach 30 degrees, as warm air masses will continue to affect southern Greece in the coming days.
More in detail, according to Sakis Arnautoglou, the temperature should increase significantly at the beginning of next week. In the ERT3 weather report, Mr. Arnautoglou said that from Sunday (14/5), southern Greece would see… summer. The temperature of its height Lamias and further south will show a significant rise, as the mercury in many areas will reach or even exceed 28 degrees.
Weather will be hot, while in Crete temperatures will even reach 30 degrees, as hot air masses will continue to affect southern Greece in the coming days. Indeed, on Monday (16/5) the temperature will show a further rise in the same areas, with the heat continuing on Tuesday (5/16).
The weather in Crete tomorrow
In more detail and according to the National Weather Service, generally clear weather is expected tomorrow Saturday May 13 In Crete. Sparse clouds will appear from the afternoon. Winds will blow from the north in directions 4 to 5 and in the temporarily local east 6 Beaufort. The temperature will fluctuate between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius.

The temperature will increase slightly and reach 20 to 22 degrees in the north and 23 to 24 degrees Celsius in the rest of the regions.
Macedonia – Thrace
Weather: In Thrace, mostly sunny with sparse clouds from the afternoon. In Macedonia, the clouds temporarily increased with localized rains mainly in western and central Macedonia from the afternoon.
Winds: Directions east 3 to 4 and east in the morning locally 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 22 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it will be 2 to 3 degrees cooler.
Ionian Islands, Epirus, western Sterea, western Peloponnese
Weather: Temporary increase in clouds with local rains from noon. Risk of isolated storms in the Ionian Sea.
Winds: South southeast 3 to 5 Beaufort with a tendency to increase in the evening in the Ionian Sea where it will reach 6 to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 23 degrees Celsius. Inside Epirus, it will be 2 to 3 degrees cooler.
Thessaly, eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese
Weather: Scattered clouds which will thicken in places from midday onwards and it is possible for local rains in the evening.
Winds: East directions 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 24 degrees Celsius.
Eastern Aegean Islands – Dodecanese
Weather: Mainly clear. Afternoon scattered clouds.
Winds: North 4 to 5 and South 6 local 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 24 degrees Celsius. North 2 to 3 degrees lower.
In Euboea
Weather: Scattered clouds that will thicken from midday.
Winds: East northeast 3 to 4 and south in the local morning 5 Beaufort.

In Attica

The temperature will increase mainly in the center and the south. It will reach 20 to 22 degrees in the north and 23 to 25 degrees Celsius in the rest.

A few clouds increased locally in the west, center and north with some local rain in the northern Ionian Sea, Epirus and Macedonia. Visibility will be limited in places in continental areas in the morning and evening.
Winds will blow westerly from 5 to 6 southerly directions and in the Ionian 7 Beaufort region. To the east, winds of 3 to 4 Beaufort will blow from the east.
The temperature will rise a little more.
